This is Week 6 of Cryptic, our title for Cy’s personal journals during the time period encompassed by Chaos. I’ve entitled this entry, “Cy Reed Encounters Diane Blair.” Not the most exciting name, to be sure. But looks can be deceiving, especially since Cy and Diane were once very close. It ends abruptly and I’m sure many of you know the reason for that! Plus, our first character sketch—Diane—is revealed! David Meyer Creations

The name change is still in progress! But lots of new updates. Starting off, I completely reworked the home page, the Cy Reed page, and the About page.

So, why the new name? Although I write books, I don’t see myself as an author. Rather, I view myself as a storyteller, capable of working in multiple mediums. David Meyer Creations reflects the fact that I’ll continue to write novels. But I also hope to branch off into new and exciting areas. Cryptic, is my first effort in this direction. In the future, I hope to take my characters and universes into graphic novels, films, and video games. Anything and everything is on the table!

Ready for Vapor?

Vapor, the fourth novel in the Cy Reed Adventure series, is done! I expect to begin the publishing process very soon. Keep an eye out for it … I think all of you are really going to like this one!
